The story that
shaped BeautyRaena.
Before BeautyRaena became a company, its founder, Ashley A., was rebuilding her own life. After entering the juvenile justice system at fourteen and returning home at seventeen, she began creating a future defined by independence, purpose and possibility.
At nineteen, she founded BeautyRaena. What started as an idea in a notebook grew into years of traveling, building relationships and creating opportunities for women across the United States, Canada and Australia.
Those years shaped more than a business. They revealed what becomes possible when women are given access to education, community and the resources needed to build something of their own.
That experience continues to shape BeautyRaena, its standards and its mission today.
As BeautyRaena grew, its purpose became clearer. Ashley’s own story had been shaped by second chances, new opportunities and people who continued to believe in what could come next. She wanted BeautyRaena to become a place where that same possibility could continue through others.
Where one’s story
can impact another.
Helping others build more for themselves. BeautyRaena Nova was created in 2021, formerly known as the student assistant program. In 2025, the program evolved into BeautyRaena Nova, introducing a new curriculum, expanded benefits, and a more intentional approach to continued education and community. Through mentorship, beauty and business events, and gatherings held throughout the year, we welcome everyone into an environment where they could strengthen their skills, regain confidence and explore what else they could build from them.
For some, Nova became the reason they continued pursuing lashes. For others, it sparked the next step—building clientele, starting an academy, creating a supply business, or simply seeing more for themselves. And as we returned every few months, we began seeing something even bigger: graduates forming relationships with one another that continued long after the events ended.
Nova became more than additional education. It became another chance to see what was still possible.
